Support Us
With increased awareness following the Supreme Court ruling, our network is expanding.
We welcome volunteers, including our cis allies! You don't need to know about the history of these employment tribunals and we welcome all skill levels: what matters to us is the respect you show others and willingness to help us grow.
We are currently developing resources for people who are keen to do outreach and make sure their local area is represented within Persist. If you think that is you then please email us and we will get in touch with you once the programme is up and running.
You don't have to be an activist or organiser of any kind in order to participate. Whether you’re an individual or part of an organisation, union, choir, orchestra, sports team, church, club, drag collective, charity or any other group you can think of, we'd love to hear from you!
You can be as involved in Persist or a one off campaign as you would like to be.
If you would like to financially support our current campaigns and help keep us going, we gratefully accept donations. We currently pay our own fees for our digital presence and currently pay for our own travel when we do outreach. Anything you give will be used, as mindfully as possible, used to create as strong a sense of safety and support for the impacted people and their communities as we can.
Please be aware that when you donate, you are not helping the case, you are helping the person behind the case. This fund does not go towards any court cases. Our work is meaningful to the people we support. The outreach we do encourages the public at large to seriously question the current legal strategy utilised against trans people but we don't engage in bidding wars against rich organisations and individuals.
Please do not give what you cannot afford - we are a hardy little network! - but if you are a cis ally and you are wondering if you should donate to trans causes, the answer is yes.
Solidarity forever.
