Persist

Persistence is power

Persist is a grassroots network that supports individual trans people who face intense public scrutiny, via media coverage or social media harassment, for living as themselves. For the most part, our focus is on trans people who go through employment tribunals that treat their gender identity as a central issue.

We do this through national campaigns that are designed to offer an outlet to the many people who are impacted by these cases and their coverage. We gather small acts of kindness and solidarity that, when put together, create a larger and very visible display of support for the impacted trans person and their local community.

When you participate in these campaigns, you reestablish through your actions what dignity and respect towards trans people actually looks like in practice.

We believe that no person should have to face these kinds of circumstances alone. Through our work, we try to ensure no one has to.

We hope this will help you keep the courage to Persist.
