Persist

Persistence is power

Persist is a grassroots community organising network that supports trans people who face intense public scrutiny, via media coverage or social media harassment, for living as themselves. We primarily focus on trans people who go through employment tribunals that treat their gender identity as a central issue.

We do this through national campaigns that are designed to offer an outlet to the many people who are impacted by these cases and their coverage. Our craftivism campaigns gather small acts of kindness and solidarity that, when put together, create a tangible display of support for the impacted trans person and their local community.

When you participate in these campaigns, you reestablish through your actions what dignity and respect towards trans people and their autonomy actually looks like in practice.

We believe that no person should have to face these kinds of circumstances alone. Through our work, we try to ensure no one has to.

We hope this will help you keep the courage to Persist.
